Class is about 330.

Their yield last year was higher than expected so they are beginning to adjust admits. Plenty of kids on our neighborhood list serve were rejected. Bit of scrambling going on. [/quote]

Wow 330?!!  I seem to remember when we applied a couple of years ago, the class was around 250.  What does this mean for class sizes, etc?  [b]Doesn't sound good that the class size is growing so quickly. [/b] Glad we decided against SJC.[/quote]

You clearly are new here.  Yield has been higher the last few years as SJC has begun another growth period (BTW, both GZ and SJC have gone back and forth on enrollment numbers and both almost failing completely at times).  A big start was the Kimsey Science Center in the early 2000s.  Plank's latest donation of $16 million has once again started a massive growth period. The beauty of it all is that class size is typically less than 20.  They have done an amazing job of keeping the school a community while growing.  Great place.  Sorry it wasn't a fit for your child.[/quote]
