I wonder if people who put together lists like this do any research? Janney (and I suppose this is true for several others on this list) won't even be able to accommodate all the IB kids, they'll likely only going to have room for IB with sibling. Zero chance OOB.[/quote]

NP. If they are IB for Shepherd or Hyde they better list those schools, instead of those where they have no chance of getting in. If they don't, they'll get in nowhere.

I'd think posting your list on this thread is tantamount to asking for opinions. And I'd also assume that they give their full list, but maybe they don't. It just seems pointless to list schools that are absolutely impossible to get in OOB, even if the list has less than 12 and it doesn't cost anything. And what if the PP isn't aware it's impossible? Maybe pointing it out to them will prompt them to add some schools that can actually serve as backups to their IB? You'd be surprised to see how many people play the lottery without even understanding the basics of it.[/quote]

Then offer advice, don't just say things like "I wonder if these people do any research." I am in a charter that we live and would only leave for a Deal feeder. Every year since PK4, our list has looked like that. People do different things for different reasons. Best not to assume.[/quote]
