Sure, you could end up being one of the lucky ones who makes several hundred thousand in big law. However, that's less than 10% of the graduating class. Everyone else will still have tons of debt and crap jobs to show for it. Doctors on the other hand can consistently count on a solid paycheck. The superstar surgeons/specialists also have the opportunity to make millions. Medicine is a more secure profession. Even if you go to a mediocre med school and are average, you can still count on at least 150k after your MD. Lawyers don't have anywhere near that type of security. [/quote]
