People misunderstand that competing against others in your school means you are only competing against others in your school. You are also competing across your zip code, and across MCPS. The fact that MCPS has so many various magnets, IB etc it’s hard to show you took the most rigorous path even if your particular school doesn’t offer as much due to the population, Going to a bad school in MCPS isn’t giving you a boost, just a bad school. If you want the bad school bump, go to PG or DCPS. [/quote]
