Y’all it’s not that complicated. A rebound relationship that became too public. He gives her just enough to keep her hooked. Don’t forget he’s only her second boyfriend ever in life. And yes you can deconstruct at any age. Who gives a f.
It floors me how she wants to be the authority on everything - what religious beliefs are right, what a great relationship looks like, and what trinket people need to buy to make their life complete - and when challenged, comments are taken down from her page, and only Jen worship comments are allowed, or she just turns the comments off. Fine, her page. So in a space that is definitely not hers, where people are challenging what she says, it is somehow still threatening. Yes, you CAN deconstruct at any age, go ahead and deconstruct away. No one cares, until, until, you start lecturing everyone else like these are new insightful thoughts that we all need to learn from. Then, yes, eye rolling will occur. There are some questions no one has a definitive answer to. It's OK not to have answers. OK, rebound relationship that became too public. Fine. Again, 3 years in, and instead of just pulling back publically, lecturing about sex, continuing to make over the top comments about how wonderful he is, and how she has never been loved like this, etc, etc. Everyone is allowed to have imperfect relationships, to believe whatever religious beliefs they like, etc. It's when you start lecturing everyone else like you are some type of authority that people raise a brow. When you present your life in some sort of way for everyone else to somehow aspire to, people are going to question this. Especially people that followed a very different version of you.
