A lot of people do set up a camera to capture the moment of surprise. I don't think Jen knew she was being filmed because she seems incapable of not looking at the camera and being all weird with her hair and posing, so I think the surprise was authentic.

And if she found this out in December and is just now telling "her community," it seems like the parents have put some boundaries in place because she would have posted that 5 seconds after finding out if she had been allowed.

Remember when Remi was getting ready for prom and Jen made a huge deal about the fact that she was not allowed to film or post any pics so she was doing that performative standing outside the room whispering about what they were doing but she couldn't show any photos. I think the kids have put some boundaries on her about what and when she is allowed to post.

But using that announcement as a way to sell her FOCL gummies was gross. The initial reveal may have been authentic, but she is going to start using that new grandbaby as an excuse for selling everything:

Baby diaper bag? Backpack from Able.
She'll probably get a collab with Shutterfly.
