What team last year went 7-1. If you’re talking about the 28s, look at there schedule last year.  They played such a weak schedule that when they got into the playoffs they lost to Skywalkers. [/quote]

The average NGLL 2025 season Opp Rating for M&D DC was ~93.02, and for Pride Red it was 91.8.  Both teams lost to their highest rated opponent (Hero's Green both) and both teams beat their second highest rated opponent, which was #4 M&D Black and #12 MDU East for M&D DC and Pride Red, respectively.  The big drivers of the 1.2 average Opp Rating difference were as follows:

- For their second highest rated opponent, M&D Black 2029 was a stronger team than MDU East 2028
- MC Elite, who both Pride Red and M&D DC played, was a significantly weaker team at 2028 than 2029

I don't know whether the 1.2 average Opp Rating difference means Pride Red had a "weak" schedule.  They did in fact lose to #17 Skywalkers (95.49 Rating) in the first round of playoffs.  M&D DC will also get to square up against an albeit weaker #28 Skywalkers (93.02 Rating) in the first round.
