Companies have the freedom to make their own hiring decisions. As an employer of engineers and a recruiter of interns and rotational trainees, I actively seek to build a diverse and dynamic workforce, including underrepresented minorities. No one is compelled to hire H-1B visa holders. If a company is engaging in hiring practices that you believe to be unethical, it may be worth addressing the issue internally or considering alternative opportunities that align with your values.[/quote]
