It is what it is y’all ain’t changing nobody’s mind about it the folks who liked will continue to think it was great the folks who didn’t like it will continue to think it wasn’t great. Is it criminal for somebody to hold a different opinion? Why are y’all so hell bent on proving the other wrong?
Bc there are fools claiming NFL football is a family friendly event.
And? Take it up with the NFL if you’re that perturbed about it nobody on here is a league executive or television producer.
'\ "Bc there are fools claiming NFL football is a family friendly event." Yes, this! Can not complain about the women being not family friendly dressed or their movement being not family friendly, when the reason for the show is football.
It is promoted as a family sports show, aired in prime family viewing time and rated PG ... not unreasonable at all to expect family friendly half time show ...
So you are dumb enough to have your family watch athletes hitting each other and bashing their heads, but think a half time show is going to be sunshine and rainbows? Oh, how do you explain the beer commercials to your kids? Do you just give them beer bc it’s airing during a “family sports show” so that must mean it’s for families, right?
If you have to resort to juvenile name calling to make your argument, your argument ain’t strong buddy. It ain’t rocket science. Shows in prime viewing time should not include soft porn.
DP- Lol where was the soft porn? Do you know what that is? And where was the juvenile name calling in the post you responded to? Was it the word “dumb” that angered you? Because that’s just a fact, not name calling.
Lol Even if you are just a Russian troll stirring the pot, you really need to work harder on your insults if you are not going to make convincing arguments. Lethargically insulting my intelligence rather than arguing your case on the merits demonstrates your abysmal lack of fecundity, dearth of imagination, and total absence of unique flair. That is what one might expect from those who saw the 2020 half time show as either a feminist manifesto, or alternately as an inevitable reflection of the game, rather than as uninspired and inappropriate content for the millions of kids and tweens watching. It is beside the point, if you do not like football. The Super Bowl is a cultural phenomenon in the US and many people who do not follow football during the season watch the final game of the season. It is reasonable to expect standards for decency be enforced during half time show. Since you and many others on DCUMD appear to have trouble making strong rational arguments that stand alone on their merits: Rather than using the insipid epithets such as “dumb” or “stupid” (about as impressive as a backyard being colonized by toddlers fighting over a swing set), try drawing from older cultures around the world to thrust rustier and sharper daggers at folks who disagree with you: “Paint my fart” (Persian insult for the person who referred to those who did appreciate the half time show as “old farts”; “I can blow farts in your spoon while the soup is still hot” (Romanian insult); “Take a dump in your hand and then slap yourself (Italian insult); “I hope your fingers change into fishing hooks and you get an itch in your balls” (Afrikaans); “May a centaur kidnap you and force you to watch Super Bowl 2020 half time shows for eternity in the Valley of No Sleep” (contemporary Greek American). I won’t charge for the much needed enhanced burn guidance.
Wow. Just wow. You need to seek help immediately. The only person impressed by you, is you. You let your children watch a known violent sport that causes brain injuries. A sport that has every other commercial being about alcohol. Then you complain about a half time show. And then get offended when all of this is pointed out to you. This is a non argument. You are not the brightest bulb or sharpest tool. These are facts.
