Total respect to this woman for not wanting Bryan Freedman’s greasy hands on her or her family’s medical records and to decide seeing them on TMZ or Daily Mail next week isn’t worth any potential monetary return. Boss move. He will be so disappoint.
Doesn’t make sense as a boss move because the documents would have been protected under AEO. There’s only three types of damages, economic, noneconomic, and punitive, and she’s voluntarily dismissing one of the three. Ron Zambrano was on popcorned planet and he said Blake’s window for economic damages is very narrow because she won’t be able to sue for any losses to Blake brown etc that occurred after she filed the lawsuit, so she’s really limiting how much the jury can award by dismissing the emotional distress claims.
