[/quote] There should never have been a rock.[/quote] The doors at my school don’t need a rock to stay open. There’s a mechanism that holds them open, for example at dismissal or a fire drill. Or if we are loading or unloading our cars for a party, or to bring in supplies for a presentation, or to load boxes into our carts at the end of the year. This is a totally normal thing to hold the door open while bringing things in and out of the school. I guarantee it happens at thousands and thousands of schools every day.
