So to sum up, the people here advocating to move other families’ kids also believe that schools don’t affect property values. That tells you all you need to know about the absurdity of their position. And to the very ill-informed who are arguing based on this premise, you should make a realtor friend so you can understand why you are bafoonishly wrong.
I don't care about your property value. Why should I? Why should anyone, except you?
I'm baffled that anyone thinks a convincing argument to the universe is that their house might be worth less. I really could not care less.
You do not care anyone's kids that will be impacted, namely kids in Oakton, Chantilly or Centreville. Why you come here to dictate where should we be rezoned to? You care about moving other people kids to gain benefit for yourself.
Totally agree. These people arguing ignorantly that property values don’t affect them have never lived in areas decimated by a general decline in property values. You don’t need to look that far away to see the dynamics from the rust belt a couple decades ago. But hey, she said she couldn’t care less, and that probably extends to even getting a beginner’s understanding of the negative impact on her coveted social equity platforms. I think she thinks that if she says she doesn’t care about people’s property values enough times then she’ll get an extra amount come government handout time.
Why on earth do you think the move from Oakton to Skyview is going to DECIMATE your property value? You sound insane. Look at the houses for sale in this general area? They are all still high. Unless you bought your house in the past 2-3 years, your house has gone up SIGNIFICANTLY in value no matter where you live.
