Here comes the annual “injuries aren’t an excuse” idiot. Of course they are! Talent is at a premium in VA publics, and if you lose one of your best couple players, it has a MASSIVE impact. You think West Po wins states if one of their best guys goes down??? As a matter of fact, if any team in ANY sport loses their best player, they get worse. Don’t know how that is hard to understand. Yes, Injury to a top player can and does have an impact, no doubt. 
BUT, if you rely on one player that much, you don't have much of a "team". [/quote]
