None if makes any mother f'ing sense. The only plausibly implausible scenario is that an evil genius showed up and orchestrated the most perfectly wonderful unsolvable crime. Maybe this person wrote mystery novels.
You are exactly right. It is the perfect crime. And this is why I think the Ramsey's didn't do it but were absolutely framed. It was very well planned out for a long time. Someone who knew the family well, was in the house recently and had some resentment or jealousy toward the Ramsey's. They also were a pedophile obsessed with JB. It was most likely someone at their Christmas party a few days prior who had access to things in the house that would be perfect for framing. For instance, is it possible someone took the notepad and a pen a couple days earlier from the party, wrote the ransom note at their own home, and brought the whole pad of paper back to the house on the night of the crime? The ransom note sounds very dramatic, very much like an imaginative author wrote it. I mean to use words like 'foreign faction', 'beheading', 'she dies, she dies, she dies.' It reads like a Tom Clancy novel. Is it also possible this someone at the party overheard Patsy telling another that John's bonus was $118,000 that year? And heard that they would be gone at a friend's house on Christmas Day? A perfect time to break in. There's also the mysterious call to the police from the Ramsey house the night of the party. I keep going back to Santa. He makes the most sense. He told JB to expect something special from him after Christmas. His daughter was kidnapped on Dec 26th. His wife, the author, is mostly like the one who wrote the extensive ransom note. She couldn't help herself from it being so long, she's a writer! Also people have asked her for a copy of her play about the murder of the girl in the basement and she has been unable to present it for whatever reason. I know Santa was ailing a bit from his surgery but if he had help, this all plausible.
