Yale - great architecture in the colleges, libraries, law school, museums

West Point - you feel the history, commitment to and sacrifice for the country.  Lovely view over the Hudson.

Oxford and Cambridge - so many of the colleges are absolute architectural and gardening gems.  They have had centuries to get it right and they absolutely have.

Pepperdine - memorable view out over the Pacific from every part of campus.  Architecture is not remarkable, but they probably didn't want to distract from the natural views.

Sewanee - small but beautiful campus set in a large, beautiful natural setting.

CU Boulder - architecture somehow fits great in the setting, which has extraordinary views of the surrounding mountains.

University of British Columbia - was there on a clear day and some of the vistas were stunning.

William and Mary - walked onto the part of the campus adjacent to Williamsburg and then kept seeing other campus and natural areas I wanted to walk through.

Duke - Gothic campus is lovely, but particularly appreciated the adjacent Duke Gardens.[/quote]
