In some ways this weird Hannibal Lecter fixation is the clearest symptom of Trump’s increasing dementia. I think because he’s just such a deeply weird and creepy person a lot of his supporters write it off, but imagine if Obama had interrupted already rambling and incoherent speeches to opine on Droopy Dog and what a great dog he was.

Here he is talking about Hannibal Lecter yet again at his latest rally (seeking asylum = migrants from insane asylums = Hannibal Lecter).
