Obesity will be cured/treatable in our lifetime. Eli Lilly’s got a new drug coming out in 2024 that is twice as effective as the one that just hit the market (Mounjaro). Really wild stuff. So worry not, fat-shamers, you won’t have to look at the fatties that much longer. Not sure how you’ll feed your superiority complex then, but that’s not my business.
Oooh really any articles?
NP https://www.healthline.com/health-news/what-we-know-about-eli-lillys-experimental-weight-loss-drug 'Experts say the findings are interesting but it likely will not be a silver bullet to end obesity." Fat people need to stop overeating. Drugs are not the answer.
I’m curious what your real issue is. Is it overeating? Because many thin people also overeat, they just have faster metabolisms. Is it because you’re concerned about the health crisis? Because that affects everyone, not just people with larger bodies. My dad was very thin yet still had a heart attack in his 40s and needed multiple operations. Is it because you don’t like looking at fat people? That’s your own personal issue to deal with. We make moral judgements on what people eat based on what they look like. Thin people are disciplined, fat people are failures. When it’s not so black and white. I know people who eat extremely healthy who are still fat. I know very thin people who are incredibly unhealthy. Fitness models may be some of the unhealthiest people on the planet, between the PEDs, restrictive diet cycles, and intense exercise. Yet we praise them for doing it “right”. You need to figure out what your actual problem is with. If it’s concern over health - shaming and giving people black and white solutions are actually worse for their health if you never said anything. Fat people have WORSE health because of the stigma.
