Watch the top club teams (Freedom, Warhawks) and you'll see athleticism and skill. It's true that even the best known high schools around here to not play good field hockey. True field hockey players are very strong, skilled athletes--it's much more strenuous and requires more skill, for example, than lacrosse. It's true that soccer and basketball are sports that, to play at the top level, require serious athleticism and skill. But, as I said, you have probably only watched bad field hockey. With that said, even bad field hockey can be quite fun--lots of exercise and nice teammates. Oh, maybe that's the part you don't get.[/quote]
