People need to be aware that predators are usually very nice people.  You would never think that a boy or girl was being abused by Jon Doe because he is just the best baseball or soccer coach.  He is so great with the kids.  We don’t believe that boy or girls allegation because we did not see any pattern or experience any kind of sexual abuse.  BUT it happens.  Someone with power is praying on the vulnerable and can get away with it due to that power, secrecy and good standing with everyone else around them.  VERY SCARY. So, I would urge people to be very careful here cuz it could happen to your kid, sister, mother or whoever.  Don’t dismiss it and be an advocate for the victim.  [/quote]
Such people usual have a pattern. Journalist investigations such as this aren't turning up any such pattern and the guy who worked with her said she was fired for.poor performance and not harrassed.   Even the the thing about asking her to serve drinks, which would not have been ususual at that time, is contradicted by other staffers.[/quote]
Asking a Senate staffer to work a fundraiser for that Senator is VERY unusual (and, not an expert in this, but it may be illegal) and her story about that was roundly discounted by multiple people on the record in the PBS NewsHour piece, which everyone should read. Biden didn’t have staffers work fundraisers, rarely had fundraisers in DC at all, and usually chose men to serve coffee or whatever at meetings because he was concerned about the optics of having women in servile roles.[/quote]
