Big NYTs report on Epstein's mental health (gift article): https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2026/06/16/magazine/jeffrey-epstein-death-final-days.html?unlocked_article_code=1.qlA.C9Qq.fyzCmLcd2QNf&smid=url-share Main takeaways: -Lots of new evidence suggests that Epstein was determined to end his life. -Epstein might have tried to kill himself more times than was previously known. -Epstein often talked about suicide in the weeks before his death. -Warnings about Epstein’s risk of suicide, and the need to protect him, were routinely ignored. -The handling of the death scene and evidence in Epstein’s cell helped lead to lasting suspicions around his death. -There are limits to what the autopsy of Epstein’s body can tell us.
Yeah, Julie Freaking Brown doesn’t believe this and neither do I. The NYTimes has become an administration spin machine. They want everything about Epstein to go away.
Epstein had all the markers for a prisoner to commit suicide. This is why I have doubt the conspiracy that he was killed. Statistically, he was a high suicide risk.
Opposite.. he said he was not suicidal; he has lots of powerful 'friends', and could easily blackmail them. The video on his cell just happen to be out for those few hours. This is why I doubt he committed suicide.
The NYT reported that Epstein's brother hired renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden to observe the autopsy. Dr. Baden claimed that injuries to Epstein’s neck (specifically multiple bone fractures) were more consistent with homicide by strangulation than suicide.
