They are not downsizing in terms of usable space and programming, no matter how much you want to propagate this lie as a means by which to garner support for your cause. As has been explained, the current facilities have a lot of wasted and unusable space that is factored into the total square footage count. The experts at both DPR and DCPL have indicated how much space they need to achieve their programming goals for the community, but somehow, you seem to know more and better than they do? Lol, it is 100% true that both the library and community center are being downsized, the available facilities are being downgraded (auditorium, full floor children's library, outdoor recreational facilities, public parking and mature cherry trees) and public access will be limited.

Yes, they will be smaller than they are now. there is a ,ot of wasted space that won't be included in the new facilities. We have already covered that ground. Don't ask me, ask the experts at DPR and DCPL, the requested square footage is from their work for this site. Yet, you keep banging the drum on this. Aksed and answered.

There will be more outdoor recreational facilities by square footage than there is now.

There will be more public parking than there is now.

The heritage trees on site will still be there, it is illegal to cut down heritage trees.

Public access will be as much after the site is finished as it is today.

There is really nothing factual about your post, other than hyperbole and conjecture. But keep spreading your lies. It does a lot to support your cause.
