DP. Families are absolutely not catered to in this same manner elsewhere in the country when there are boundary changes. The parents here act like spoiled, entitled toddlers. [/quote]

Boundary changes are a big deal everywhere.  The difference is that in most school districts it’s the equivalent of a parent telling their three kids they are going to their grandparents for vacation. In Fairfax it’s telling them they may go to Disney, or they may go to Paris, or maybe they’ll do a staycation, and asking them months in advance which they prefer.  And then acting surprised when the kids bicker with each other about what they prefer. [/quote]
