Yes, disbarment is separate - but these crimes seem to be clear.  FWIW, I know that she has so far escaped disbarment in Texas but I haven't followed the proceedings closely.  This is would be a new reason for disbarment, I assume.[/quote]
I had forgotten about that. It seems she avoided disbarment in Texas after a judge dismissed a complaint because some of the plaintiff’s evidence exhibits were out of order. The Bar can appeal but I can’t see that they have yet. https://abovethelaw.com/uploads/2023/02/Powell.pdf[/quote]

She plead guilty to felonies. She’s getting disbarred.  She will not be on the Board of public ally traded companies. Because felon. Speaker circuit.  Maybe?  She just agreed to flip on Trump though, so not the MAGA circuit. [/quote]
