Yes, disbarment is separate - but these crimes seem to be clear.  FWIW, I know that she has so far escaped disbarment in Texas but I haven't followed the proceedings closely.  This is would be a new reason for disbarment, I assume.[/quote]
I had forgotten about that. It seems she avoided disbarment in Texas after a judge dismissed a complaint because some of the plaintiff’s evidence exhibits were out of order. The Bar can appeal but I can’t see that they have yet. https://abovethelaw.com/uploads/2023/02/Powell.pdf[/quote]

In Texas? Lol! Those people think she is a hero. Most of the state including 1/2 of the elected federal officials want to leave the US and form the Republic of Texas. You underestimate the determination and dedication of the right wing in this country. [/quote]
