The latest was about the rising homicide rate in DC, and there was an entire paragraph about how people aren’t working in offices as much, so downtown is essentially “lawless.” But that’s not where homicides are happening; no one is getting shot at Wednesday lunchtime in front of the Reagan building because a bunch of feds aren’t around to stop it.
