Are you serious?  This is a life long scar he has from childhood on up. He acts like the parent in the relationship so it’s like letting go of your child (who you have essentially cared for forever), knowing you won’t see him for a long time and hoping that this 12th time finally works. +1 million. As a 40 year old with a drug addicted parent, I still cry about it sometimes. And I have my shit together. You have no idea what it’s like, unless you’ve experienced it firsthand.[/quote]
