Point of dispute?
Their deliberate targeting of players maybe? Can’t out play them, hurt them. Two top Cville players taken out in 2 minutes and a third chop blocked when it got tight. Battlefield should be embarrassed. No skin in either teams but those last 10 minutes of that game made me sick.
Wtf is wrong with you????? Lacrosse is a physical game and things happen. For those who weren’t there, one was a card due to a dangerous shot. The 2nd player went down after an 8 meter.. where a card or even a foul didn’t occur. No teenage girls would go into a game with a plan to hurt ANYONE. Ridiculous.
And from what I saw and heard, as I was waiting for my daughter to play in the next game, was Battlefield’s goalie yell at the refs to stop the game to help the Centreville player who was hurt. That’s called sportsmanship. So I’m not sure what you mean?
Battlefield received 3 YCs that game. One was for unsportsmanlike conduct and based on a previous post it sounds like another was for a dangerous shot. Not sure what the third was for, but one was not issued for the play in question. I was there for the game prior to Battlefield/Centerville, which involved the same refs, and only one YC was issued in that game. It’s nice the Battlefield goalie helped to get play stopped and while sportsmanlike it is hard to gloss over Battlefield’s entire play. Regarding the play in question, it was difficult to see what happened, but the refs seem to botch the play. If no foul was committed the Centerville player should have been called for a crease violation. If there was a foul committed the player should have been issued a FPS. Instead the refs ignored everything, letting the player lay in the crease for a good length of time before treating the play like a missed shot and providing Centerville the ball below GLE.
False-a female ref replaced 1 of the 2 male refs from previous game. I will also send a LINK video from our VEO account showing you the play in question.
