In addition to the 15-week ban challenged in Donna, Mississippi also has a trigger law that will go into effect within the next ten days that will ban all abortion in the state with the exception of imminent threat to the woman’s life (i.e., when she’s literally bleeding out on the table) or in the case of rape where there is a formal charge (which is decided by the prosecutor, a police report by the victim is not enough).[/quote]
