For whatever reason, blacks have a lower IQ than whites and asians. Studies have shown that IQ can increase generationally with education. We need to make sure that blacks value education more. Education has to be the primary focus. Sadly, we are a long way from that. I would like to see a marshall type plan that from day 1 of school makes the child and parent realize that education of the child is the most important component of raising the child.
That only applies to some Asians. IQ of Indians is quite low. Future generations in America might settle the nurture vs nature debate,
You must be the poster who posts often extolling the virtues of Jewish and Chinese intelligence :-). The IQ tests are generally flawed and the results are highly correlated with level of education. I bet the IQ of Black kids will be about the same as everyone else if you adjust for level of education and family wealth/status. Assuming your theory that "some Asians" are more intelligent than Indians is true and the same "cream of the crop" left their respective countries to come to the US, how come Indians are wiping the floor with pretty much all other Asians in almost all disciplines? Evidence: Google average family income by ethnicity. On the other hand, if your statement that "IQ of Indians is quite low" is true and yet a good number of them are very successful in the US, why can't Blacks achieve the same results? It's all about the education and mindset..
Income is not the same as intelligence. Indian immigrants are not representative of all Indians.
You can have your intelligence then. Print your IQ score and use it in wipe your a** for all I care. If intelligence cannot be used in a productive pursuit which in turn results in the accumulation of an economic advantage to the person deploying such intelligence, what's its purpose?
DP - the purpose of intelligence would be the betterment of society, not the accumulation of economic advantage to an individual. Attitudes like yours are the literal definition of "toxic".
Your ability to weave "toxic" into any discussion and your expectation that people do anything for the betterment of society without some kind of advantage to them shows your mindset.. You are either a Liberal Arts baby that never really had to work for money or a moocher that wants to live off other people's work. Pro tip - No one does squat unless there's something in it for them. Betterment of society is a by product that flows from society's economic well being, not the other way around.
I mean, there's some truth to this, because many people are genuinely motivated by improving the conditions around them for everyone's sake. My mindset is pretty simple. Choose a field (in my case education) that pays you enough to be able to enjoy life while providing value for others in a way that creates a genuine sense of fulfillment. I'm pretty happy and I have a tremendously positive impact on my environment and surroundings. Can you say the same?
Then do something fit the most vulnerable group in our society, the Asian Americans. A society will be judged by how it treats its weakest group.
Asian Americans - and especially the ones who are making the most noise with respect to TJ admissions - are nowhere CLOSE to the most vulnerable group in our society. Nowhere CLOSE. And honestly, you'd have to be completely disconnected from reality to believe that they are.
You can mock, spit, kick and say racist things about Asians and nothing will happen. Can you do that about any other group?
Yes. Literally any other group. Get your head out of the sand.
Huh? Black people have been getting murdered with impunity for years.
