IAC Observations.

GP graduated their best senior class in the past 6 seasons. Even with the Episcopal transfer and the stellar 2023 class, the Lil Hoyas will be nearly as strong as they were last spring. Bullis also graduated a talented senior class and a marquee returning starter transferred to DeMatha. The days of Bullis bringing in 5+ transfers in the off-season to plugin for their gaps are long gone under the new headmaster. The Saints bring back pretty much their entire team from last Spring, many of which are seniors. For some reason, the team over the river in Alexandria never gets much attention on here even when they are capable of beating anyone. Landon will be darkhorse in the league. They bring back a decent senior class with players at all positions on the field who started last spring. Nothing will change between EHS and STA.

I think this is the year, the Saints finally get over the hump and make it to the IAC finals, whether they will be playing Prep or Landon, we shall soon find out. Bullis and takes a serious step back this Spring.

WCAC Observations.

SJC will be in a league of their own. I don't see the Cadets going undefeated with their schedule as it takes a very special coaching staff to keep a team focused for an entire season. SJC has gone from being the hunter to the hunted, it will be interesting to see how they handle the added pressures.  Gonzaga in theory should be better as they can't be worst than what they were last Spring. Not sure the Eagles have the firepower on their roster to score points but their defenses have always been the strength of their program. PVI is the darkhorse in the league, they have always had the players to run with many top teams but coaching has been suspect for years, a new coaching regime should change things. DeMatha will be a distant 4th place team in the league (that if little brother Boh beats his older brother)

Look for SJC and PVI to square off in the WCAC finals.
