One of my kids had a male preschool teacher and he was fantastic. Absolutely a wonderful teacher and so good with the kids - calm and attentive, lots of silly rhymes and fun routines, really creative activities. Zero red flags due to his male-ness or otherwise. You know who else is really good with little kids? My husband. He’d be a terrible teacher, as would I, but he is everyone’s favorite uncle, the dad all the kids want to play with at the playground, and he sincerely enjoys it as well.
