This is likely not a complete list of college players from Landon '17, but no one at Landon would say last year's St. John's team would beat the Landon 2017 team. We are talking about High School Players when they are in High School. Epstein JHU Geppert Maryland Shockey Maryland Johnson Michigan Silah Towson Kopp Maryland -Who by the way gave up one point the entire season and covered every team in the DMV's best player but hasn't played much at UMD Buller Penn State Cam James Loyola. Graham Harvard Kurtz Tufts Wellington Bucknell Giles Denver Gallagher Bothers Dartmouth. Bou UPenn
Are we really doing this right now? Landon will do anything to be part of the conversation
Landon folks are delusional
I suspect it was the SJCHS fans that made the comparison, and so there was a response from the Landon faithful. I love the non-sequitur of "What did they do in college?" It is the same kind of self-satisfying back slapping that "We are number one until someone beats us." This is a high school forum. In high school, all those kids on the Landon '17 team were excellent players on one team in the DMV and they happened to be undefeated and ranked #1 in the nation at the end of the season. A feat Landon teams have accomplished four times. SJCHS, congrats on your season last year. You were really good, like every team ranked #1 at the end of the season. The eye test, and the transitive property of sports says Prep is better than you this year. Beating a down Bullis team that has lost to St. Albans and Landon by one goal is nothing to celebrate. A competitive loss to St. Tony's is still a loss.
