A lot of my Republican friends thought along these lines and voted for Youngkin.  Most are crying now (at least publicly).  I suspect any Republican elected will end up "toeing the Trump line".  Unfortunate, but true.  Youngkin had the opportunity to prove he is "not one of them" but it's pretty clear that he is.[/quote]

I'm beyond tired of Democrats looking to deflect from the incredibly poor performance of local Democratic officials in Fairfax by bringing up Trump.  It didn't work for McAuliffe and it won't work for Bryan Graham and the FCDC in 2023.  At a minimum you should be looking for a graceful exit for the majority of the current members, including but not limited to Omeish, Tholen and Frisch, and looking for a new slate. [/quote]
