Not OP, but we've already been through it. Half my coworkers called in sick on January 2, and most of those are working remotely and still recovering from Covid. You can tell they are still recovering, brain fog plus continued coughing. 
One older coworker caught Covid in mid December, is good enough to be home from the hospital but does not feel good enough to work yet. [/quote]

Interestingly, I actually had a box of n95s when this started (and donated them to a hospital) because I needed them for mold remediation. But my culture didn't sanction wearing a mask out in public, so it didn't occur to me that I might protect myself from winter flu, etc., by doing so.

And then, we started wearing n95s to protect against covid, and i didn't get sick anymore. So I kept wearing them, because I learned.
