It's not dairy-free - my kid is allergic to dairy and cannot have it. Surprising to read the posts from people who say it's dairy free or their relative who is lactose intolerant can have it since it has milk and cream...

Original Cool Whip: Water, hydrogenated vegetable oil, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, [b]skim milk, light cream and less than 2% sodium caseinate (a milk derivative)[/b], natural and artificial flavor, xanthan and guar gums, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate and beta carotene (as a coloring).

Even the fat-free version has a dairy derivative (i.e. Not safe for those with dairy allergies): Water, Corn Syrup, Vegetables Oil Hydrogenated ( Coconut Oil Hydrogenated, Palm Kernel Oil Hydrogenated ), Corn Syrup High Fructose, Contains less than 22% of, [b]Sodium Caseinate, from milk,[/b] Flavors Natural & Artificial, Food Starch Modified, Xanthan Gum, and, Guar Gum, Polysorbate 60, Polysorbate 65, Sorbitan Monostearate, Sodium Hydroxide, Beta Carotene, Color(s)
