We need pics ladies.
here's some eye candy, but he's gay.. sigh.
OP here. Yes, I agree, he is actually THE most beautiful man on the planet. I had mentally shelved him as he is gay, but shouldn't have, its not like I have a chance with David Gandy any time soon.
Now I am a huge David Gandy fan and I just do not see the appeal. To me he looks too perfect, almost boring. There is nothing dangerous or exciting about his energy, unlike with David. Or maybe it is that I get the gay vibes and so I just feel no sexual energy from him. IDK. But he does absolutely nothing for me and I never get it when women go on and on about how beautiful he is
NP here. Let's give the gent in the photos his name -- he's Matt Bomer and he starred in the TV series "White Collar" (very entertaining, by the way). I think maybe you're just seeing still photos of him and yeah, in still photos most of these model-gorgeous men could be called almost boringly perfect, I totally agree. Maybe that's why male models who only are models don't do a lot for me. But Bomer brought a lot of charm and talent to the show he was in, and real personality to the character he played, and so I think that always is the secret sauce that makes any physically attractive person click as being attractive on a very different level. Yeah, now I want to go re-watch "White Collar"! And full disclosure, as long as we're having fun listing here, the person who posted Stephen Colbert at the very start of this list may have been joking but--he'd be a blast to be married to. I imagine the conversations would be fun. But for me the most attractive man of the moment is Lin-Manuel Miranda, both pre- and post-haircut (Did any hair ever have such attention in the media?!). Not what most folks would call standard good-looking most of the time, but he radiates so much energy and positivity that I can only see him as incredibly attractive now too, even on those days when he looks in interviews like he hasn't slept for a week and is dressed like a schleppy, impoverished teaching assistant at the local college. No offense, teaching assistants!
See, I hate to be rude, but the fact that you genuinely named Stephen Colbert and freaking Lin-Manuel Miranda as "hottest guys on earth" contenders just completely invalidates your vote for Bomer, to me. I feel like this is the case for a lot of Bomer fans- he seems like a real nice, sweetheart, kind of Midwestern polite, and a pretty face. I feel like when we are talking about hottest guys we should be talking about hot as hell, physically-close-to-perfect, the heat melts off the page, I would still want to f*** them even if they were rude as hell to me and I never saw em again, I would watch them doing the dishes, reading the phonebook, etc, kind of attractive. Like dirty, purely physically attractive and sexy. Like walk into a room and you don't have to say a word to them and you can't look away. All these "He seems like he has such a nice personality!" or "he's really sweet!" arguments just, in my opinion, have no place in this contest, which is admittedly shallow and looks based. BUT everyone has a type and I know some women go for the nice guys. But it's kind of disappointing to me because I feel like there is a lot of pressure on women by society to overlook men's looks and value them for personality, humor, money, etc, whereas men are allowed (and expected) to be totally surface based. JMO.
