Ok I agree not having those things sucks. HOWEVER, if Clinton were elected instead, she would not have been able to pass anything through a Republican controlled Congress. So regardless who won the presidency, we weren't going to get anything anyway. [/quote]

Out of those three, equal pay is the only one that wouldn't have come out of the taxpayer's pocket, because it would have been a federally mandated law that company's must match salaries for equal assignments/positions regardless of gender and that's it. I am sad for that.

But the other two can burn in hell, I was dreading paid maternity leave and affordable child care. You think accessible health care for everyone in this country was expensive? Imagine paying for daycare for everyone's brats and for a woman to take a year off work to have more. No.[/quote]
