They didn't just 'stash pot', they also planted a bunch of prescription pills, and the article made is quite clear, that while the pot would have been a misdemeanor, 40 opioid painkillers without prescription do qualify as narcotics distribution. OP, thanks so much for posting this! This story is shockingly crazy.. and I, for one, do think that Kelli Peters deserves every single penny of that settlement. [/quote]
