Name some lawmakers who have said they want to abolish ALL guns. It would be dead on arrival. Machine guns were outlawed because people recognized they were a threat to public safety. I'm not sure why ARs can't be treated the same way. Doesn't the ammendment actually refer to a "well-regulated militia?" And yet 2nd ammendment supporters balk at ANY regulations. Hypocrites.[/quote]
