Totally in agreemebt that this was not piblicized appropriately, and it does burn to think of the extra taxes on massages, gyms, exercise classes, and now this. But I think the fees will actually help make things less of a free for all. The pools may be more focused on swimming. I am a swimmer and avoid the pools in the summer months entirely bc of the lack of maintenance, dirty water, and unruly behavior. I guarantee all the vitriol is from one single wronged person. We also live in Ward 6 and I'm a big fan of Charles Allen. He is incredibly responsive and thoughtful, at least in the limited dealings I've had with him. And I haven't heard anything otherwise from neighbors or friends in Ward 6. [/quote]

Completely agree with this statement except that he's done nothing for all of Ward 6.

I know he's not up for re-election, but can anyone from the Democratic Party run against him? He's totally out of his league.
