i tried Nature's promise about 2 weeks ago & now i can't get enough of it. i don't know exactly what's in it, but it's the greatest tasting milk i think i've ever had [next to mother's milk that is, lol]. i hope it truly is organic in the most...definite sense of the word
My 8-year-old was complaining that he stopped liking the store brand milk I was buying so I bought a half-gallon of Nature's Promise milk for him. (I can't drink milk at all but it never smells bad when I pour it.) The first day, he loved the NP milk. The second day he said it had a slightly weird aftertaste but it was still okay. The third day I thought I imagined a weird smell when I poured it for him. He took one sip and declared it was awful. I stuck my nose in the carton and it smelled like sh!t. It didn't even smell like rotten milk. It literally smelled like sh!t. Organic milk is ultra-pasteurized to give it a long shelf life so I don't understand why it went bad in 3 days. The date on it was April 4. Anyway, he's back on the store brand milk and if he stops drinking that, he can switch to water or my almond milk (which is Nature's Promise and tastes pretty good).
