Ok then. So maybe you can answer: who does a Burger King employee date? Do fast food workers just tend to date other fast food workers?
Most fast food employees are young. The older ones obviously are not dating your typical DCUMer. Some of them are between jobs, have addiction issues, dealt with adversity, or are simply from a modest walk of life where having a modest job is nothing to be ashamed of. I can't express enough how out of touch people in DC are. There is a whole world of people that make under $40k per year and don't consider themselves poor or losers. Many of you would be at a loss to live outside of the affluent cocoons of DC/Boston/NYC/SF etc.
But then who do fast food workers in DC date? And FWIW, $40K goes a lot further just about anywhere in the US than DC/Boston/NYC/SF.
Fast food workers date other fast food workers or maybe retail workers.
Hot female fast food workers date upper class men.
No, not really. Upper class men may date hot women who are not particularly educated and high-achieving, but they typically have some kind of job that allows those men to introduce their girlfriends to their social circle without feelings embarrassed. You can say your girlfriend works at a law firm without mentioning she's the receptionist.
I think the occupation you are looking for is "PR". I'm in my early 30s and should go 450k+ this year. My next wife will be in PR. A wife who values her own career as opposed to other endeavors is just not what I want, if I were starting from scratch.
