Not to mention that people (or their kids) wear shirts or hats with their alma mater on it at least once in a great while, and who doesn't talk about alma maters during football season or during March Madness? Then again, that wouldn't apply to HYP :lol: [/quote]

NP.  You know if someone you know went to an elite school.  You just do and if you went to the same, it immediately establishes a connection and it is easier to become friends.  Don't you feel more comfortable with people who share a similar background, went to the same college, grew up in the same town, etc as you?[/quote]
