By the time we park both cars (and have comfortable clearance on both sides of the family car for getting kids in and out of car seats, especially since we don't have a mini-van with sliding doors), we could use a ton more space to house all the trash cans and kids' wagons, bikes, etc. Plus my husband is a big lawn/gardener type and has all the usual lawn stuff plus tons of extra tools. He keeps it all pretty organized but there's still now way we can fit it all in our 2-car garage. I've learned to really prioritize garage space for our family.[/quote]
