Reality?  You are the one living in some bizarre little fantasy world.

It's pretty glaringly obvious at this point that unlike some of us, you and the PP who think the shutdown was no problem were not in DC when it happened and have absolutely no clue who it affected, what problems there were, and have zero clue whatsoever what you are talking about.

I was actually there.  I saw what was happening on the National Mall and at the WWII Memorial - and for example on the first weekend of the shutdown, I actually witnessed first hand a Republican congressman at the WWII Memorial getting interrupted and getting a reality check from some Honor Flight folks while he was trying to grandstand and blame Obama, he ended up getting a royal ass chewing over the fact that there were inadequate facilities even with their "Deluxe Motor Coach with Bathrooms" - not to mention, it was hot and hit the 90s on the Mall that day and there was not even anywhere open to get cold refreshments.  I saw that Congressman and his staffer turn tail, and run away to his vehicle and leave that day, when people who had come saw through the bullshit and confronted him.  I was there.  You were not.

You are just talking out of your asses with some fiction that you saw on FOX or read in Daily Caller.  Sorry, but your cute little opinions are rendered utterly meaningless by the actual facts and events of the shutdown.  Everybody on the Hill knows damn well that the shutdown was an unmitigated disaster, everyone who was in DC knows it was an unmitigated disaster, and we have to laugh at whatever warped fantasy version you are clutching to under whatever rock it is that you are living under...
