Where do I demonstrate a lack of compassion? What is true in a remote village of Afghanistan is not true everywhere. It doesn't take a lot of intelligence to realize that and it doesn't suggest a lack of compassion to point it out.

Do you really lead such an isolated life that you have not met and befriended Muslims? Did you not attend a university and meet Muslims women studying there? I really struggle to understand how someone who is presumably an adult can truly come to the belief that what her husband saw in a remote village in one of the most underdeveloped places on earth was representative of anything other than that village. Can you imagine someone landing in Appalachia and encountering people speaking in tongues and engaging in snake handling and then going home to tell people that what she encountered represents all of Christianity?

Saudi Arabia is wealthy, not backwater, and is one of the worst offenders.

College: the pinnacle of a liberal's experience. The Muslim women who live in America and are privileged enough to attend college here are a handful, compared to the millions who live under Islam around the world.
