WOTP has better schools, quieter streets, more parks per capita, easier parking, lower crime, etc etc. If you are thinking of the more suburban feeling EOTP neighborhoods like Brookland or Brightwood, those are more kid friendly on some of these measures, but nowhere nearly as much as WOTP.
