Our house isn't haunted, but the previous owner is still around.  She died in 2006, and had lived here for 24 years (house was built in 1940).  My husband swears he saw her standing in front of the TV, and once in the dining room.  Our kitchen is an addition and doesn't have duct work, so it doesn't have air conditioning or heat (built in '64).  During the summer of 2007, I was in the kitchen washing dishes, and it was extremely hot that day, when I felt a gush of very cold air surround me.  I didn't feel threatened or scared, but I knew it was her.  She loved this house and probably doesn't want to leave.

This isn't a guost story but what happened was out of the ordinary.  There was a time in the ninetees where I was extremely broke.  I was going through a divorce, and had decided to keep the property we bought together, even though I knew I'd be stretched thin financially.  It was Christmas, and I was flying home to the midwest, thanks to my mom.  I had not ONE dollar to take with me on the trip.  The morning of my flight, I went running at 5am, even though it was cold and dark.  I finished my run and was crossing the street to go back to my condo, when I looked down and saw a fat wad of money, $84 dollars to be exact.  There weren't any houses nearby.  I knew someone was looking out for me. [/quote]
