Is the act of killing you the same as killing a bug or a mouse?
OP here. No. Not the same. We have courts and prisons. The mice do not.
So it's ok and there is no good reason to feel guilty as long as you don't get caught. Now I understand. You are a bug with a stronger defense mechanism but still no more valuable than a bug universally speaking.
Not OP but you have kind of wrecked this thread with your nonsensical strings of words.
Actually my question is completely logical. It seems to me that the soulless atheists sense of self worth is on very shaky ground logically.
Only if you consider the only measure of value in the universe to be the binary question of whether an entity has a soul. If that's the scale you want to work on, then by your definition (but not mine), neither of us have any more value to the universe than any other entity that you would say doesn't have a soul. If that's truly how you measure your own value - ie your only value to the universe is that you have a soul that is valued by your deity - then I pity you. I hope you find some other way help you believe that your existence has some value. However, if we work from a more generally accepted framework of morals and ethics, which are generally considered capable of existing regardless of the existence of a deity, then the existence or possession of a soul is no longer the criteria by which an entity is worthy of not being arbitrarily killed. There's plenty of material out there on moral and ethical frameworks if you choose to look into it. Otherwise, you can keep trolling atheist discussion and derive your personal value, such as it is, from that.
