What cracks me up is the inherent assumption in this post that every parent can afford to 'meet up with the others' for pizza or drinks.  It reminds me of the other thread on what it's like to be a lower income parent at an HRCS, where everyone else seems to be meeting for pizza and drinks with their kids and you can't go because you're trying to make rent.  It's a bit hard to participate in the "charming" pool play date when you don't have time off on Saturdays.[/quote]
